For all those wondering...

It's a girl! We went to Womb with a View and the lady assured us we are going to have a little girl. As you can imagine I made her check several times. We are a bit hesitant still, because we have been duped before. That is not taking away from our excitement. My excitement is threefold- I will have a daughter, I get to shop, and this will for sure be my last pregnancy! We can't wait to meet her. Ryan was a little disappointed, he walked out of the place looking quite depressed. When I asked him what was wrong he said, "I wanted a boy!". He is starting to like the idea though and Dylan doesn't really care much, he does know that there is a baby in my tummy. In fact when I was throwing up the other day he looked up at me and asked, "Baby okay?". I am pretty sure she is okay but still throwing up at 18 weeks means that I am not okay! It has to have an ending sometime and I'm hoping that the ending is not on the day she is born!

Our Family is Rockin'!

For Christmas we bought our family Rock Band. We weren't so sure about it because we are not at all musical, but thought it would be fun to try out. Well, we were rocking out last night. Ryan is the drummer, Daniel is the guitarist, and I rock the vocals. Dillybug uses his tamborine to join in. Well, we were right we are not musical, but we have so much fun! It will be months, maybe even years before we allow anyone to hear our music, but we are going to enjoy practicing.

Christmas Day

On Christmas day we went over to Rob and Tennille's and saw all their new stuff and then later on they came over to see our new stuff. It was a fun and relaxing day. Oh yeah, I got a new camera! It is small and I love it! I still don't know how to do anything with it but it works good for just point and click photography.

Santa Came

On Christmas Eve Ryan went to sleep in seconds. He was second guessing himself before he fell asleep though. He told Daniel, "What if Santa skips our house. I think I was kind of naughty". As you can see, Santa thought he was pretty good. We had so much fun watching the boys open their presents. Even Dylan was into it this year. Ryan kept saying, "Just what I wanted!". I love little kids and Christmas.

Christmas Jammies

On Christmas Eve the elves left our whole family Christmas Jammies. They were so cozy!

Christmas Eve

Every Christmas Eve since I can remember we have had Christmas Eve at Grandma Haney's house. The last two years we have been having it at our house. It was weird this year because Josh wasn't there, neither were Tom and Patti and family and Mom and Ed. We missed them so much, but we had fun still. This year we played a lot of bowling on the wii.

Christmas Cookies

It's a christmas tradition that we decorate christmas cookies each year. Even Dylan could do the sprinkles this year- we all had a great time!

Christmas

The Sunday before Christmas we got all dressed up for church. I just think the boys were so handsome so I had to share the pictures!

House of Tykes Christmas Program

Ryan has been loving his preschool. Since October they have been learning the Christmas carols for their program. This season has been filled with Ryan's sweet voice. On the 19th Ryan had his program at River Oak Grace Church. We weren't able to get great pictures because we were far away, but Ryan was so fun to watch. He knew all of the songs and was so animated in singing them. He is always swaying to to the beat, it's so cute. Ryan had quite a crowd too. Papa Kurt and Grandma Haney were there as well as Rob and Tennille and their family and Grandma Betty and Aunt Cindy. Ryan felt so special that everyone was there to watch him.

Gingerbread Houses

Five years ago Madison, Ashlyn, and I made a gingerbread house. It turned out all lopsided but we had such a fun time together. They have asked me to do one every year since but I have always been pregnant, had a baby, or just too busy. This year we decided to do it with both families. I didn't want another year to go by without gingerbread houses. We had so much fun and the houses were so creative. Ryan even made a train!

Christmas Magic

After the train ride we went out to dinner at the Peppery in Sonora. It was very yummy, but the dinner took forever! With four antsy little boys it was pretty crazy. It was fate that dinner should take longer than usual though because as we walked out the door of the restaurant it started to snow! We were all so excited and the boys could not believe it! It really made the Christmas season start for us. Note Daniel's shorts in the snow! He was a little under dressed!

Railtown

Before Christmas we went up to Railtown with our friends the Neville's and had so much fun. We went on a train ride and there was a violinist who was playing christmas carols and Santa visited and handed out candy canes. We had so much fun! They have two little boys Ryan and Dylan's age and the boys love each other!

Christmas Photo

We went low budget with our Christmas pictures this year and took them ourselves. It was a little crazy, we ended up with one or two good ones. By the way, we don't have a tripod so we prop it up on a box on our coffee table. If you accidently bump the table when your running to be in the picture you have to start all over.

Ryan's first sleepover with Papa

One night Ryan decided that he wanted to have dinner at Papa's. He had so much fun he decided to sleepover at Papa's. I was hesitant because I missed him so much. We had a quiet dinner with Dillybug and then a very quiet evening. Ryan just adds something to our family.

Three Christmas Trees

We finished decorating our Christmas tree the day after we set it up. The boys loved it! Then Ryan and Dylan get a tree for their rooms. Ryan saw a black tree and wanted it so bad. We got it for his room and he had so much fun decorating it. I'm not sure if he'll like it next year, but he certainly did this year. Dylan liked his tree on all day.

An Old Fashioned Christmas

Downtown Oakdale put on an old fashioned Christmas. There was an old firetruck, popcorn, hot chocolate, and a horse drawn wagon ride with Santa. It was so fun!
